Mexican Chiapas
French Roast
Cultivated in the mountainous landscape of Chiapas, this organic Mexican coffee begins with beans naturally suited to a rich and satisfying cup. The region’s volcanic soil, generous rainfall, elevation, and varied microclimates contribute to the coffee’s smooth foundation and chocolate-toned depth. Generations of smallholder farmers carefully nurture each harvest using traditional growing and processing methods.
Our French roast takes these beans to their darkest expression. Deep, intense, and low in acidity, it delivers a heavy, full-bodied cup defined by rich dark chocolate and subtle smoky undertones. The extended roasting profile creates a powerful flavor and unmistakable depth for coffee drinkers who prefer the boldest end of the roast spectrum.
We highly recommend preparing this coffee in a French press. This brewing method retains more of the bean’s natural oils, allowing its deepest flavors, substantial texture, and smoky chocolate character to emerge fully. The result is an uncompromisingly bold cup that remains connected to the smooth, rich Chiapas coffee at its foundation.
