Ethiopian,
Uraga Guji Zone

Light Roast

Grown at approximately 6,500 to 6,640 feet above sea level, this Ethiopian coffee reflects the remarkable growing conditions of the Uraga area within the Guji Zone. More than 450 small-scale farmers cultivate garden coffee in the region’s rich loamy soil, where the high elevation encourages slower bean development and creates exceptional clarity, aroma, and complexity.

We selected a light roast to preserve the delicate qualities that make this origin so distinctive. The result is a bright, floral, and effortlessly elegant coffee with a tea-like body and vibrant notes of crisp lemon, sweet apricot, and fragrant jasmine. Rather than allowing darker roast flavors to overpower the bean, this profile lets its natural citrus character and graceful floral finish take center stage.

A morning pour-over is especially well suited to this coffee, revealing its clarity and intricate layers. Our sourcing partner is certified organic and Fair for Life and reinvests part of its profits into a community development fund.
